Is there parking for my car?
Yes, we have off road parking for your daily driver, free of charge and at your own risk.
Can you pick us up from the railway station/airport?
We are happy to offer free pickup from Bournemouth or Southampton stations and airports, so we make it easy for you however you choose to travel down here.
What do we need to bring with us?
We supply pretty much all you’ll need to enjoy your camper van holiday, we even put a bottle of bubbly in the fridge for you as a welcome gift (for hires of over two nights)! You’ll need to supply your own food of course, plus towels and toiletries .
Most people bring their own sleeping bags and pillows but if you don’t we can supply these.
You must bring both parts of your driving licence, plus a recent utility bill (last 60 days) with your address matching your licence. We cannot provide insurance without all of these documents.
Can we bring a pet?
We love dogs and are happy for you to bring your pet but please do check with us first. We may charge extra for cleaning and any damage caused by your pet.
How far can I drive in Primrose?
There is no mileage limit but Primrose is only allowed to travel within the counties of Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
How do I make a booking?

Do I need to pay a deposit?
We ask you to pay a £150 non-refundable deposit when you book, with the balance of the hire fee to be paid 6 weeks before the start date. Or if you book within 6 weeks of the hire date, we ask you to pay in full when you book.
We also need to take a £750 security deposit which must be paid by credit or debit card when you collect the camper van. This is refunded to you in full within 7 days back to the card you used to pay it, provided no deductions need to be paid for damage.
Is insurance included in the hire price?
Yes, fully comprehensive insurance for UK travel is included in the prices quoted, for the named driver and a second driver if required. All drivers must have held a full UK driving licence for two years and meet the necessary requirements for our insurance. The insurance excess is £750.
What if I have points on my licence or had an accident in the last 3 years?
Please contact us so we can check with our insurance company – an additional charge might be payable.
Is there a minimum/maximum age for driving the vans?
25 to 75 years of age.
What happens if we break down?
We supply full 24 hour roadside assistance/recovery so you will have the help you need in the unlikely event of a breakdown.
I have a non-UK driving licence, can I hire a camper van?
We can offer hire for many non-UK licence holders. Please contact us and we will check with our insurers
Are personal belongings covered by the insurance?
No, the insurance we provide does not cover your personal belongings. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover these.
